Autumn Events at Truly Madly Vintage

It may be getting colder outside but we still have lots of places for you to go! We have our Chelmsford Vintage & Handmade Market on Saturday 24th September at the Shire Hall in Chelmsford. It starts at 10am and ends at 4pm, featuring lovely stalls selling vintage & handmade items such as, Love from Lynne, Victoria Rose Crafts, Ladybird Beads, Sparrow & Nightingale, Plum Fairy Cupcakes, Truly Madly Vintage and lots more! Its free entry and there are gorgeous cakes available from Plum Fairy, mmm, can't wait!

Then in October, we have a brand new event celebrating all things vintage at hooga called hooga boutique which we are very excited about! It is run by us, hooga & Hetty Rose and will feature all things vintage. Read the press release below to find out more...


 "The hooga boutique is a collective of local, talented designers and makers passionate about vintage style. The event will celebrate music, fashion, beauty and films from the past.

The Vintage Wonderland will include a swap shop, rails of vintage clothing and accessories, hand made shoes, a 40s style live singer, up-cycled jewellery and much more. There will be 50s style hair and make-overs, vintage movies on show, jive dancing lessons and make-do-and-mend workshops.

hooga will be making and shaking vintage inspired cocktails with names such as 'The Jitterbug', 'Hand Jive' and 'Pink Lady' all served in kitsch teapots and tea cups. Alongside the cocktails there are delicious cupcakes for sale as well as a catwalk show and a female DJ spinning classic 50s & retro tunes. Pizza will also be served with 2 for 1 deals on selected items & drinks.

Bring your girlfriends along to sip a cocktail, have a jive dance, rummage through the huge selection of vintage clothing, try on some gorgeous shoes and jewellery, munch a cupcake & get a 50s hair and make-over.

hooga boutique aims to be an exciting, memorable and enjoyable afternoon and its Free Entry!
